Massage Therapy treatment

Many common problems can be improved by massage therapy, such as aching muscles, tendonitis, muscle spasms, myofascial pain syndrome, whiplash, headaches, sprains/strains, and other sports injuries to name a few.

Your massage therapist will develop a personal treatment plan based on your case history and physical assessment.

Healthcare coverage

Licensed Professionals

Only members of the PEIMTA are permitted to use the title, Registered Massage Therapist or the designation of RMT. All members of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of PEI must be registered with the College and are therefore licensed massage therapy practitioners.

All massage therapists at Body Works are registered.

Massage therapy is not covered by Health PEI, but many private insurance companies cover treatment from a Registered Massage Therapist as part of their extended healthcare plans. Please consult your policy.

Meet the Team

Massage therapy is a regulated health profession in PEI and as such, massage therapy should be performed by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
All RMTs are required to be registered with the Prince Edward Island Massage Therapy Association.
